I imagine them to be close in age with Ellie being the oldest compared to Henry and Charles.

The route that I consider them happening the most on is my au of the TCW route. RHM survives but Reginald doesn’t. RHM is left damaged and left out of the civil war for the most part due to it. However, after the route is complete (if either survive that is), they’d continue working together for a few years before actually falling in love.

Ellie Rose probably grew slightly protective of him as he was to her, especially with how reckless he had gotten after what happened.

Eventually he did chill out but it was still worrying to someone who grew attached.

I don’t actually imagine that RHM would stay broken for that long but it’d certainly take a while for them to have proper replacements for his damaged parts (his arm and eye) as they essentially have to reverse engineer based on the undamaged ones. Or they got cheaper / easier alternatives than replicating what he once had.

As I mentioned before, “if either survive,” I’ve always had the vision that down the TCW route of Finishing the Story (my AU of just continuing routes), that their is a ending where Henry loses. In the final paths, Henry is intercepted by RHM, buying time for Ellie and almost always dies for her sake.
