Right Angle Gearbox is used to transmit the Rotary motion in 90 degrees. This SMD Gearbox uses a Bevel Gearset of which the axis driven is perpendicular to the axis of the driving gear.
SMD Right Angle Gearbox – SRAS Series size 40 is the precision Gearbox available in the market with nominal output torque ranging from 44 Nm to 1370 Nm with the total reduction ratio available from 1:1 to 1:200. The Right Angle Gearhead is attached with a single-stage planetary Gearbox to achieve reduction with maximum output torque. SMD Can provide different types of output such as Shaft type, Collar, Clamp type and Hollow Bore type. The housing is made up of aluminium and the shaft and gear material are made up of SCM440 alloy steel.
The Sizes available for Right Angle Reducer are 40, 60, 90, 120, 150, 180,220. If the reduction is needed upto 1:1 or 1:2, it can be provided with a bevel gearhead, if the requirement for a particular application is above 1:2 a Planetary gearset is attached at the input section and with the combination of both large reduction ratios with high output torque can be achieved.
