If you have a mouse wheel, you can use that to zoom in and out.

You can use keyboard shortcuts (see below), or the buttons above the Navigator.

My personal favourite: you can right-drag in the Navigator preview (right-mouse-button down-and-drag, or hold the pen side button and press-and-drag with the pen if your pen’s side button is set to right-click). 

Why is that my favourite? If you go into File menu,  Environment setting, you can change the Zoom by Dragging setting to Smooth Zoom. Then right-dragging in the Navigator gives you smooth zooming instead of the stepped zooming that most of the other zoom techniques provide.

Turn off right-click via long-press or press-and-hold or hard-press (try the Pen and Touch applet in the Control Panel and/or your pen settings control applet, which might be in Control Panel, or in the system tray in the right lower corner, or maybe in the start menu). While you are at it, turn off Pen Flicks (see image above), and turn off Windows Ink/TabletPC services (it will be  a setting, probably a checkbox, in the Huion software, usually in the system tray).

Out of curiosity and for future troubleshooting, what was the problem/solution?

This is something I also run into, accidentally setting off the eyedropper function through either touching the button on the side of the pen with the side button set to right-click (I think this is useful enough to keep), or because long-press/press-and-hold and/or hard-press is set to right-click in the pen settings (I now turn this setting off, either through the pen software or through the Pen and Touch applet in Control Panel, or both).

Means your pen is sending a right-click signal, probably from long-press or hard-press as right-click (assuming you don’t have your pen button settings reversed, or sometimes mouse buttons reversed for left-hand use will do the same thing, even if the mouse works fine).

Turn off other tablet services built into Windows or your tablet software, such as Pen Flicks (the Pen and Touch applet in the Control Panel) or long-press or press-and-hold or hard-press for right-click (try the Pen and Touch applet in the Control Panel and/or your pen settings control applet, which might be in Control Panel, or in the system tray in the right lower corner, or maybe in the start menu).

First, make sure you aren’t accidentally pressing the side button on your pen, which is usually set to right-mouse click or eyedropper function in FireAlpaca (you might be able to disable this in your pen/tablet software), and nothing is accidentally touching your Alt key.

In Control Panel, have a look through the Pen and Touch applet and look for an applet for your pen/tablet (or there might be an icon in your system tray, depending on your tablet brand). In both, make sure there is no setting left on for long-press (or press and hold) or hard-press for right mouse click.

Also turn off pen flicks.

If you have a left-handed mouse, test setting it to right-handed.

Check the pen/tablet button settings (for right-mouse-button settings) - Windows, via the Control Panel, Pen and Touch applet or the specific manufacturer controls e.g. Wacom tablet settings - a Windows/MacOS update may have reset the pen button settings. Or is this a real mouse button only?

Check for any new or changed programs that might be stealing right-click functionality - mouse macros, pen flicks, pop-up mouse menu programs.

As always, restart the computer.

As a last resort, try a FireAlpaca full reset.
