A classic Italian pasta dish featuring rigatoni pasta smothered in a rich and hearty Bolognese sauce made with ground beef, tomatoes, vegetables, and aromatic herbs.
Ingredients: 1 lb rigatoni pasta. 1 lb ground beef. 1 onion, finely chopped. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 carrot, finely chopped. 1 celery stalk, finely chopped. 1 can 28 oz crushed tomatoes. 1/2 cup red wine. 1/2 cup beef broth. 2 tbsp tomato paste. 1/2 tsp dried oregano. 1/2 tsp dried basil. Salt and pepper to taste. Grated Parmesan cheese for serving.
Instructions: Follow the directions on the package to cook the rigatoni until it is al dente. Remove the water and set it aside. Cook ground beef in a big pan over medium-low heat until it's no longer pink. Get rid of extra fat. Put the garlic, onion, carrot, and celery in the pan. It will take about 5 minutes of cooking until the vegetables are soft. Red wine, beef broth, tomato paste, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper should all be added now. Bring to a low boil. Stir the sauce every once in a while for about 20 minutes, or until it gets thick. Mix the cooked rigatoni with the Bolognese sauce until it is well covered. Grate some Parmesan cheese on top and serve hot. Have fun with your tasty Rigatoni Bolognese!
