A fan art piece of Riesz from "Trials of Mana" (known as "Seiken Densetsu 3" in Japan). I focused on depicting her valiant pose with the glowing weapon and meticulously rendered details of her costume. I hope her strength and the fantasy atmosphere convey through this artwork. This artwork is for my personal portfolio use only and is not for commercial purposes.

An old favourite of mine, Trials of Mana, also known at the West for the longest time as Seiken Densetsu 3.

I picked up the Trials of Mana remake around 6 months ago and ended up enjoying it pretty well (it ended up better than Secret of Mana's remake for sure), with Angela as my main character, and I had the idea that given her background she'd make a good sea witch, even if I had to draw all those little suckers on her tentacles. Charlotte was added in based off a friend suggestion even though she's not on my team, and originally this picture was just going to feature those two, but then I thought of adding Riesz just to round off the three female protagonists of the game, basing her off a flying fish since she normally lives high up in the mountains.
