On Monday, the martingale I used was really weird (it had big loops on both sides and it was probably too short for my horse). Not only that, but the saddle I used was absolute crap. (Note to self- even if jumping, get a deeper saddle rather than use that terrible saddle) I don’t the humidity or the rain helped either.Â
Don't get me wrong I'll wear my boots and short but I made the mistake of doing it ONE TIME when I went riding. I will never wear shorts riding again. #cowgirlup #ridingproblems
I went to a horse clinic this weekend and now I'm so burnt and sore because I hadn't done a lesson in awhile :/
Horse show results:
W/T CLASS - Rode one of my all time favorite horses, Gem, and placed 5th (I have a 5th place streak going on)...
W/T/C CLASS - Rode a horse who I do like and have only ridden once. He's a western pony and they weren't going to use him for this class because he's uncomfortable, but they had to because of issues with another horse. I thought I'd be fine and whatever because I found him comfy...but no. I didn't even place. My eq was HORRIBLEEEEEEE. So now, I have to wait until next month to try and get my 6 points for regional's.Â
Even my photography was sucky!!!! I don't know what was going on today.Â
