          KNUCKLES GENTLY RUB AT HER own eyes.  could she be sun sick?  hallucinating?  should she call a doctor?  hitoka’s known,  from the moment her and tobio arrived,  that there’s something  DIFFERENT  about this city.  she can’t quite explain it and she did think she was crazy at first,  but a few weeks proved her intuition was  RIGHT. 

     she’s more baffled now than ever.  before her,  perched merrily on the shoulder of a young boy,  is a creature she didn’t even think  EXISTED.  it looks like something straight out of a fantasy tale,  or video game!  hitoka doesn’t realize she’s been staring in her attempt to determine whether her eyes are deceiving her or not.  that is,  until the duo turns to meet her gaze,  of course.  YIKES!  hitoka’s eyes quickly dart back down,  a red flush coating her cheeks.  she’d always been told not to stare!

The gem's arrival in the city hadn't been long ago, so Phos wasn't sure why they thought they would be any less confused after a single day.  They had never seen buildings like the ones in Koi before, and had never seen so many people in their life before.  Their short journey throughout part of the city had only left them tired, and quite overstimulated by all the sights.

Phos was used to open fields, and the welcoming shelter of their school.  Koi City was a whole other beast.  Dragging their tired body along, the gem was more than eager to plop themselves down on the nearest bench.

Green eyes stared up at the darkening sky.  Their translucent hair sparkled in the low twilight.  They would have to go to their apartment soon, as it was getting late.  And yet, they found themselves transfixed on the moon in the sky, nearly full but with a sliver of darkness on its side.  Was it the same moon they saw from their homeland - the one that took their partners and friends away from them?  And if it was, were they nearer or farther from it now that they were in Koi City?

She’s seen all kinds of different people in this city, but she still managed to find herself amazed constantly. Just a few feet away stood an eye catching stranger, one of the prettier ones Bocchi has seen. Fiddling with some paper in her hand, she wondered how to approach them. It would be too stressful to outright approach the other to compliment them, but tossing a note might just be perfect.

Pulling out a pen, the girl scribbled out a quick, “You’re very pretty! (:D)-|--<,” drawing in a face at the end to add appeal. With practiced fingers, she folded the sheet carefully into a flower and psyched herself up to toss it.

“Are you sure about that? Do you need help with medical condition or healing?” It looked like the wounds hurt. It told him of a hard earned battle. Granted, Yugi is only showing concern for the other. He was studying the wound, he’s no doctor but he can tell that’s some serious injury.
