Hello everyone and welcome to the blog for Rickyl Week!
My name is Mick (@corrodedghosts) and I will be your host for this event! As we get closer to the week, I will be creating the post for prompts as well as the rules! Please note that this event is 18+ due to possible NSFW themes. While the event is not slated to have NSFW prompts, that doesn't mean that you can't write smut!
Now some things to address:
When is Rickyl Week? June 14th-20th
Who can participate? Writers, artists, editors, anybody who has an eye for creativity! You are all welcomed to join!
How many prompts will there be? Two a day for the total of twelve! Each day barring Saturday will have two prompts ranging from fluff to angst. Saturday will be a free day for you to choose a prompt that you didn't get to write for in the previous days!
Where will Rickyl Week be posted? On Ao3 and Tumblr! I am debating on whether or not to bring the week to twitter but we shall see how things go in the upcoming months!
How should we tag our works? On Ao3 I will create a collection under the name Rickyl Week 2026! On Tumblr please use the hashtag #RickylWeek2026
Do we have to participate in each day? Nope! I understand that life is busy and hectic, so even if you can only do one day, we will still love whatever you decide to create!
In conclusion, I hope you all have fun with this! I am so excited to create this and share it with everyone, and I cannot wait to read, see, and watch everything you all come up with!
