Gender: female
General appearance: black hair with a slight wave and the tiniest brown undertone and dark brown eyes. tall like her father.
Personality: calculating. shrewd. smarter than both of her parents and ambitious. can easily blend into the background and commandeer attention at once. begged her father to go to hang out at court from an early age because of the intrigue.
Special talents: very intelligent and curious about the world. she knows just how to flatter to get what she wants. skilled with a bow and arrow and short swords, though she prefers archery.
Who they like better: rowena views them both equally. she is not a very loving or affectionate person, but she does love her parents. her affections are more towards lynora because lynora has always loved on and doted on her, has never once allowed her to doubt her mother's love. rickard...well, he's rickard.
Who they take after more: rickard in her dominating presence. she can be as quiet as her mother though and you never see her coming until it's too late.
Personal headcanon: holding her after she was born was the first time rickard had felt true, 100% unconditional love. she thinks her flattery works on her dad, but he is older than she is and knows all the rules and gimmicks. he gives in because she is his pride and joy and genuinely does not want to upset her. absolutely daddy's girl, even though it would surprise you with how stoic they both can be.

Gender: male
General appearance: blonde hair, much to grandma and grandpa's happiness. we love a valyrian gene (something all four of their kids missed out on), hazel eyes, not as tall as his father, lynora's height genes definitely had an affect on him. can be seen with two expressions: spacing out and smiling
Personality: he is a sweetheart. he cares for others, he wants people to smile. takes after his aunt rohanne, especially when she was a child, in that he is talkative and easily distracted. he's not argumentative at all, and he's genuinely a good guy who wants to do good things.
Special talents: whistling. singing. he's learned some healing from lynora, and frequently used to bandage him his younger sister so rickard wouldn't yell at her when he finds out she was out doing nonsense. he's a big jokester, and has the charm of his uncle osric with none of the hidden layers.
Who they like better: lynora! he is a mommy's boy 100%! rickard sometimes scares him even though he does not mean to. he's just a large man with zero tolerance for nonsense. lyonel is not ambitious, and that irks rickard like nothing else. during arguments, he stands with his ma no questions asked.
Who they take after more: lynora, again. he's a good kid with a good heart. he's loyal and caring if a bit of a wallflower.
Personal headcanon: he loves his sisters very much, showing much more of that tully affection than the celtigar's coldness. he will frequently tickle them or hug them from behind. if you mess with them, you will receive a very strongly worded letter of reproach.

Gender: female
General appearance: short light brown/reddish hair. expressive dark brown eyes like her momma's. tiny like her momma!
Personality: oof. she is rickard's punishment for his sins. wild, untameable, argumentative the same way her mother was when they first got married. bold like her aunt alida. very excitable, and got into lots of physical trouble (swinging from trees, climbing things she shouldn't) as a child and then lots of courtly trouble as a teen/adult (making out with random people, spreading rumors for fun, asking impolite questions)
Special talents: making rickard's hair go white. only getting caught 50% of the time. embroidery, oddly enough, despite usually being all over the place, it calms her like nothing else.
Who they like better: lynora, hands down. she is constantly getting into trouble with rickard who, unfortunately, loves her but wishes she wouldn't be so...her. lynora is more permissive and kind.
Who they take after more: neither, really. rickard and lynora are both much more composed, and lynesse, while the baby, is nowhere near as coddled as lynora was.
Personal headcanon: lynora gave her the nickname lysa, and it drives rickard up the wall but he's trying to keep quiet to 'keep the peace'. he can't begrudge his wife for her grief. she has kissed someone from every great house, which she is very proud of. other people can't really resist her she's adorable.

picture perfect in front of the world, a dutiful young lad, really, he was not so wonderful to his sisters. where they filled the halls of claw isle with merriment and movement, he was quick to tell them to quiet down, to stop being nuisances.Β
of course, it was not his fault. he had spent some of his formative years as a page and then a squire in kingβs landing, and, upon returning to learn to manage the affairs of claw isle from his father, he had found his home to be ransacked by three little ladies, each bothersome in her own way. when before he was in the company of baby princes and baby princesses, now he must deal with these girls, and learn to handle their futures.Β
their father was not much in the way of working, and having such a hard working son, rickard the elder had his son managing the affairs of claw isle, bit by bit, from his teen years, until he had grown enough to shoulder most of the responsibility.Β
rickard is awkward, is not kind, but he takes his work very seriously; he takes his place in his house, as the heir to claw isle, as the eldest of four, as the cousin to the ruling house, very seriously. he will put on the face of the family man when needed, of the happy lord if needed.Β
he is not close to his sisters; to him, each one is merely another brick of house celtigar, here to be protected and then, married off to form alliances.
from five and twenty to thirty, he had fallen deeply in love with a man who had sought to build a future with him. But a future between men does not yield heirs, and his parents, ever grasping onto what little valyrian blood they had left in their house, wanted blood heirs. his lover had not been appreciative of this staunch desire for children, children they could not have together, and became too frustrated to continue with him. rickard has not taken a lover since.
he has always been a paranoid man, seeing shadows where others do not, but the war increased this ten fold. He is frequently fearsome and worried of spies, of neβer-do-wells trying to destroy his house, trying to destroy him.
that king aelyx thought to reward him (and his house) for his efforts during the war with the daughter of a rebel houseβ¦well, the diligent heir must, of course, accept her; who is he to reject his king? to reject his parentsβ arrangement?Β
perhapsΒ they should have waited for him to die before going through with the wedding, maybe they would have had the chance to stop it, but what is done is done. he has a little traitor wife walking the halls of his keep, doing who knows what (he knows; he has a guarded with her at all times.). lady lynora tully is not close to his heart, and he means for it that way. her only purpose is to bring him an heir, and to keep the tullys in line lest they try anymore foolish acts. for now, neither of them know peace together, and they may never will.
