Very excited to announce that our first barrel-aged beer is on tap! Schism is an imperial porter that we split between @richland_rum and @13thcolony Southern Rye Whiskey barrels. We then blended a very small batch of both barrels. The result is a rich, heavy-bodied beer with notes of molasses, raisins, oak and, of course, rum and rye whiskey. This is a very limited run. 10oz snifters, half pours and tasters only. No cans, no growlers. We will release a limited amount of 500ml bottles next week (only 24 bottles so be ready to jump when we announce, these will sell out quickly). I had the opportunity to photograph Richland Rum Distillery recently. I have photographed quite a few different distillery’s but none like this beautiful place that sits right in the middle of little quiet Richland Georgia. Upon walking into the distillery you could smell the sweetness of the sugar cane throughout the room! I only had a few minutes with the Master Distiller Erik Vonk, so I had to make it count!  He even sent me home with a complimentary bottle of rum (going to work my bbq sauce magic this summer)    www.mattodomphotography.com
