Ok sorry - one more because I'm sending these to you as I find them: yet another book by Robert Lax is "Love Had a Compass." So collectively he has "The Green Island," "The Blue Boat," "Love Had a Compass," and "Circus of the Sun." Also look up a picture of "4 Boats 3 People" by him -- it looks to me like it's written in blue and green.

I know this is a stretch, but do you remember the Robert Lax poem quote that YAH tweeted, and how it turned out some of his other work had some Larry-related coincidences, and that one of those works was “Circus of the Sun,” which was published in his anthology “Love Had a Compass”? Do you think that might have anything to do with the circus-themed music video it looks like we’re getting?
Oh that's an interesting thought. Maybe. I'm very curious to see which song those images are tied to. The whole thing about Lax was so curious because there were so many Larry coincidences tied to him.
The interesting thing (to me) about Circus of the Sun is that while it seems to be a religious poem about Creation, it's about a traveling circus. The poem follows a day in the life of a circus as they arrive in a new town, set up, rehearse, perform and take down the circus. There's something there that's so similar to the life of a touring band and maybe that's part pf the connection for Harry (assuming Harry did actually provide all these tidbits for You Are Home).
This has nothing to do with anything, but I was looking up something about Richard Lax and had a laugh about how he was good friends with the poet/author Thomas Merton. Merton was also was ordained as a Catholic priest and given the name Father Louis. hkjdfhkjdfahkj
All of the Flax/Larry parallels are crazy (and absolutely intentional), but I feel like even the contents of the original poem (Problem in Design) are so telling... from a queer perspective, it reads a lot like "Society will tell you that conforming to heteronormative standards (be they straight or cisgendered) is the 'beautiful' (ie. right/correct) way of living, but you can decide what feels right to *you* even if that means flamboyance/eccentricity." Color where the world feels right to YOU.
