fire agate: if my muse is brave or cowardly
I don’t think there are many who would think Ahru a coward. She faces a great deal of terrible and terrifying things with a (usually) level head and quiet determination. She can be childish at times, seemingly without worries at others - but for the most part? She’s always listening. Always got her eye on a bigger picture. While not foolhardy, she’ll run headlong into battles against enemies where others would flee on the norm - but honestly that’s how it all started out for her. Running.
Running from being deemed a failure and an outcast among the Hiraeth, running from having to face the betrayal and abandonment of people she’d thought she could trust, running until she got to Lost Hope. Running jobs for folks around Stonesthrow, or the Coffer & Coffin for food. Running until she was running tasks for Momodi and the Adventurer’s Guild, and then the Scions.
Ahru is terrified of stopping. Terrified of having to look back at everything she’s lost and all the things she should really face and deal with. When she gets a moments quiet, it unnerves her - better that she throws herself into the next fray, or at least picks up a book or some absurd new hobby to distract her mind. If this makes her a coward though? An outsider might be more benevolent, but she would say so.
