This is my character from a ttrpg game I'm playing inspired by signalis (as introduced in a stupid meme post).
Uh, she was gonna be a throwaway for horror shenanigans, so her real designation is EULR-42069 (to the chagrin of my GM). Accordingly, her nickname is Lamm. Her whole shtick is that she's a sweetie pie (but with awareness and intent). She's the liasion officer, physically a piece of wet tissue paper but my other friends all decided to play low cha.
Either she will die or her loved ones will die and I will weep either way *squeezes her like a stress ball*. Needless to say I'm attached and excited for where the story goes~

So. Am working on requests but the other night I had an odd flash of ideas so here is this au w DJ SS and Neon J! The TLDR is that J is basically a wolf monster-shifter living in the woods with his deer monster sons and Nova is a magic scientist on probation, trying to get back in the good graces of his peers by investigating a local legend of the once-affluent Metro Division. More details under the cut hehe
Basically, in this AU technology and wild magic are in a near constant state of conflict because of the encroaching of sterile cities into the wilds. Idk if I’ll ever work out the details, but in some places wild places have almost completely overtaken civilization almost overnight, the Metro Division being one of those places.
Professor Subatomic Supernova has always struggled to get recognition in his career as a magical theorist, particularly because he is a kind of magical being called a starfolk (subject to change), which have incredibly wild and unstable magic that fluctuates with the individuals emotions. The more technology oriented civilization (name pending) is suspicious of starfolk bc of the unpredictable nature of these powers, and Nova has as a result spent most of his life suppressing his feelings and relying on logic. However, a particularly bad day caused an outburst of energy to destroy much of his classroom, though no one was hurt. Nova was humiliated and put on probation, and he’s desperate to regain all of the progress he’s made over his career.
enter the metro division, a once technological city that is mostly covered by choking weeds and fungus, though a few people still live there. There are rumors of a powerful monster lurking in the depths of the woods, though the locals certainly are not talking. Nova goes to the metro division in order to solve the mystery, conquer this beast through Science and Logic, and get the scientific acclaim that he’s always longed for.
Neon J is a guardian of decay, of life coming out of death. It’s almost fitting, since he was a war veteran put into a robotic shell before embracing an existence in the woods instead. He’s a wolf creature with limbs made of dead wood and with mushrooms and moss covering him every so often. He can shift from wolf form to a humanoid form, but the transformation is very taxing on him. Hes the adopted father of five kirin, and rather powerful in his scope. His woods border on the Natura Forest, and he often clashes with the matriarch there. he intends to scare nova off, protective of his territory and his charges. There’s a greater threat lurking in the woods’ heart, however - a leftover of the very war jay was a part of, and he will need both the help of nova and the matriarch of natura to preserve the life he has built
