SUMMARY

Ariel was born out of wedlock to a waitress in Mexico City, the result of a one-time fling with a young rich businessman traveling from Spain. Although his father didn’t acknowledge him, his mother made sure to give Ariel his surname, hoping that it would prompt the man into taking responsibility for his actions. It did not. So she raised the boy on her own for ten years, until it became clear that she was not going to be able to give him a fighting chance at having a future on her own. Ariel was sent to live in New York with his tía, where she raised him and made sure he got a good education. His mother passed in 1998, making his aunt his sole guardian, and he finished school in the US and moved into vocational training to become a mechanic. Always a relatively gentle boy compared to other dominants, he was never particularly forceful until his aunt was diagnosed with cancer. He devoted himself to helping pay for her medical bills, but working overtime prevented him from meeting his dominant needs, and he built up a great deal of withdrawal aggression that he couldn’t alleviate. The Yao family is well known by anyone who can claim to be anyone. If you were to trace back the family line, it’d be hard to find a single name that wasn’t dripping in wealth and status. 

Working for a living wasn’t necessary, yet Edward’s father carried on the family tradition and became a lawyer, bailing corporations out of their shitty dealings. His mother runs a hobby business as a home cook, including a successful cooking show and line of cookbooks and cookware. 

Edward is the second oldest of five seemingly perfect children. The coveted male dom who was given anything he wanted so long as he kept up a good appearance. A prodigy in piano and violin, proficient in three languages, and competent in all the bullshit that comes with old money manners. 

Edward was often left alone with his siblings or with nannies. From a young age he would act out to try and gain his parents attention, even if it was negative.

The History

Kael Endiron is a king in all but name; a man who learned to rule over others through seduction, manipulation and intimidation in equal measure. Kael was as arrogant as he was handsome, and as handsome as he was dangerous. ABOUT

Tyrell’s story is one of success. Raised primarily by his paternal grandmother in the streets of Oakland, he never had easy access to the best things the world had to offer. Instead, he worked hard to make sure one day he would be able to pay back for the care his grandmother had given him all his life.

A gentle kid, Tyrell was always quick to lend a hand to anyone who needed a hand around him. Even as he took his place as a Dominant and grew to his eventual 6′5′’ size, he never changed, always choosing diplomacy and care over strength to solve any issue he came across.

Biography: 

Cara didn’t exactly have the easiest start in life. Her mother was a layabout that needed no excuse to lace into her, and her father wasn’t much better...The only difference being he also happened to be a gun for hire. 

By some twisted fate, she was born dominant while her twin brother was submissive, and despite her lack of input into the matter, they hated her for it. 

Her father had always wanted a male heir to carry on after him, someone he could breath his life’s work into and train to a high enough caliber to one day surpass even himself. A male to carry on the legacy as it had been for generations -- He certainly hadn’t wanted that person to be Cara. 

Her parents tried and tried again to have a dominant male child, but gave up after her fifth sibling -- Ones Cara never even got to meet, having been placed in foster care the second they saw that rose gold birthmark. 

In the end, her father accepted defeat, but he always had been one to hold a grudge. She was seven the first time she had to learn how to take a proper punch from a full grown man, eleven when she’d first been forced to kill one of her father’s marks he’d tied up in their basement...And on it went, each thing seemingly more diabolical than the last while Cara grew in her bitterness by the day. 

She wasn’t given a single second of her life to do anything she wanted to do, and all the while her twin brother was treated like a prince. He could go anywhere, do anything, develop his own hobbies and skills and interests...

They always told her that she’d stolen his life from him, that this should be his legacy, but in her opinion he was the lucky one. 

She stewed in her resentment for years until one day she simply couldn’t take it any more. Eventually snapping at seventeen, she killed her father during one of his particularly hazing training exercises and used everything he’d taught her in the process, before running away and never looking back.

Cara already had all the connections she needed to begin taking on contacts, eventually forming a small group of her own hired killers that grew quickly into its own. 

She’s now reached that point in her life where she’s more a handler than needing to get her own hands dirty, which is why she’s come to reside at rosewood. It had originally only meant to be a few weeks respite, but the longer she spent here the more she enjoyed it. So when the position of sub breaker was offered to her, with it’s own handsome salary to boot, she decided there wasn’t any harm in sticking around. 

Personality:

Regardless of her nature and role within the manor, Cara doesn’t throw her weight around demanding respect from Rosewood’s residence. This also goes the submissives that reside here, and she can actually be relatively respectable provided she’s offered the same courtesy. She does love violence, make no mistake, but with her it’s always controlled. A relatively short burst and it’s done...Hers is a controlled sort of chaos, a volatile calmness; organised crime, in every sense of the word. In the Art of War by Sun-Tzu there’s a quote about letting your plans be dark and impenetrable as night, and that when you make a move, fall like a thunderbolt. Despite perceptions, and an affiliation for more subtle or ranged weapons, Cara is actually a pretty accomplished close-quarters fighter. From the age of 5 she was thrown into many aspects of agility based prowess over sheer strength. Because of this, she has many years of MMA training under her belt, as well as a level 6 in Krav Maga and 3rd dan in Aikido

Camille was born into a wealthy family. The youngest of four siblings, Camille was the only one born submissive, much to her parents’ dismay. Rather than allow her to live harmoniously with her nature, they did their best to stamp out her submissive nature.

Louis grew up with comfort. He had two successful parents, both stellar and respected in their particular fields. He lived under a large roof and he never went hungry. Because of that, he grew up somewhat spoiled and dependent on his parents. Being the only child didn’t really help much either.

Louis became the man that he was in high school. Despite the shallowness and pettiness of high school drama, he found himself a group of friends who opened his eyes in the different realities of life beyond his own as a rich cismale dom.

He didn’t want to grow up to be a surgeon like his mother or a lawyer like his father. Instead, he wanted to be a nurse, a profession that allowed him to be kind, caring, and devoted to the people under his care.

Despite not believing that a nurse isn’t a job suited for a dom, his parents allowed him to study nursing. Choosing to take up nursing was the first real decision Louis has ever done for himself. They allowed him under one condition. He must study out of state and lean to live on his own.

When his parents heard about a certain manor overseas, they devised a plan to convince Louis to transfer. A family vacation turned into a prolonged stay as they tried to make Louis fall in love with Rosewood Manor. Eventually, all pretenses were dropped as they revealed their true intentions as to why they think Louis should stay. 

Louis was, of course, conflicted. On one hand, he finally felt that he was in control of his own life. He has made friends amongst co-workers, as well as with patients in the hospital where he worked. On the other, he had always longed to be the man his parents wanted him to be. In the end, Louis’ tendency to let others decide for him returned.
