I'm confused at what you mean by sayin male and female are not bio sexes? I mean, how else are the chromosomes called? (Not including chromosomes outside of XX or XY). I rly don't mean to offend.
This is something that requires a really long answer and I’m low on energy but I’ll try my best to sum it up in a shortish answer.
To start off, very few people actually know what their “sex” chromosomes are. They aren’t tested for unless something is wrong and a sex chromosomal abnormality is suspected. Everyone just assumes that their chromosomes match the gender assigned to them at birth. Second, there’s more than just XX and XY. We know this, but this society is so hellbent on acting as if sex is some unchanging feature that they jut kinda ignore it.
Sex is designated at birth based on genitals, but there’s actually a number of primary and secondary characteristic considered to make up bio sex, many of which fluctuate from individual to individual and even throughout a person’s lifetime. Basically, biological sex designations are arbitrary and serve no real purpose other than to uphold a system of cissexism.
