for example, Dean is deaged into a 2 year old, but it's still the year 2015. He becomes a 2 year old kid with the thirst for killing because he has the mark, but he can barely talk yet. Sam and Cas have to baby sit him.

now, depending on what the authour likes, they can have:

the character's body being deaged, but their mind staying the same. So Dean's body is 2 yo again, but he can still talk and think like the adult he is in 2015.

the character's body being deaged, and over time, their behaviour gets deaged as well. So basically he starts as above, but slowly he starts crying when he doesn't want to, he forgets some vocab, etc, until he's an actual 2 yo again.

the character is immediately deaged both mentally and physically

the character can have their real memories back... so a 2 yo deaged Dean would be remembering exactly what he did when he was 2 yo (assuming you follow #2 or #3 from above).

the character can just have no memory of what's happening
