Plagueround OC!!!!

His name is Olli and his curse changes everything he touches with bare skin into a different material. Works only the first time touching, the other times nothing is happening

his name is Robin Clark and his curse is that whatever his hands touch “unravels”.

so for example fabrics fall apart at the seams, wood peels away in curls, rocks crumble into sand, etc. There are certain materials this doesn’t affect for whatever reason, like leather and certain plastics. because of this, he wears leather gloves at all times.

The way he got his curse was unfortunately, at school, in his PE class. At first he noticed his shirt was wearing out, but he assumed that that was because it was old and brushed it off. But then a classmate was gossiping about him and his younger sister (Her name is Rosie) and he gets upset, and eventually it escalates and he tries to grab their arm to push them. But then as soon as he touches them, their skin and blood starts to slowly come apart in ribbons, leaving them with only the skeleton. It isn’t exactly a painful process for them (bc magic), but it is strange and obviously scary so both children are traumatised. The effect stops just short of their elbow. Strangely enough, their hand still works normally, even though only the bones are left. So skeleton arm now i guess.

You know now i think about it, i wouldnt be surprised if they became a st churnleys student too after all that…

ANYWAY while he is at St Churnleys, he learns more about the curse and he realises he can create too. He can manipulate his “unravelings” to whatever shape he chooses. And basically if he’s creative enough, he’s kind of overpowered. BUT i think that those kinds of things he would only get good at by like, 3rd or 4th year.

not really about the character but his curse was inspired by a combination of Iris Black from countdown to countdown and the first book of Kingfisher please guys theyre such good webcomics i cannot stress how good they are you can find them at ctccomic.com and tapas respectively- and idk i think what i came up with is pretty cool.

Robin’s very destructive curse leads him to becoming more closed off to others but he’s also generally a very extroverted person, so this results in him getting along with everyone but nobody really getting the chance to know him. He’s loud he’s chaotic he’s a prankster and he’s trying so hard to hide his hurt.
