Rachel sat back on the mass of pillows on her bed, her hand over her mouth as she stifled a laugh. Every few moments there would be a change in pitch from the girl who occupied the room adjacent to her own. If Rachel hadn't known better, she'd think her neighbor was being burnt at the stake based off her wild screams. The fact that this event was even happening wasn't what amused Rachel, but more the clear fact that the girl was a complete actress. Which, incidentally, Rachel was about to become. She'd concocted a sort of ploy to get her neighbor to either quiet down, or quit her behavior all together, for the night at least. Asking her to stop forever was a bit much. Checking the time on her phone, Rachel pulled on a pair of jeans, a simple white t-shirt, and some socks. Making sure to stick her dorm key in her pocket, Rachel slipped out of her room, waiting in the hall for Tristan, waving when she saw him bounding down the hall with popcorn in hand.Â
