Ah, the Chimera. This boss gave me such a hard time as a kid. This time, though, I didn't have much trouble at all!
Just like last time, Zavier has some eerie words to share with Raguna before he gets out of there:
"That thing is lethal! This is as far as I go! One should always know when it’s time to quit, Raguna. Don’t forget that!"
Again, I love the tension thrown into this game. This is a dangerous situation, but as the player, I know that Raguna is the only one who can do this, so we must persevere!
In the scene that comes after defeating the Chimera, however, I can't help but feel a bit bad for Zavier. Mist scolds him for "not being any help", but honestly, I'd be afraid for Zavier's life! He knew the Chimera was way stronger than his treasure-hunter abilities so he got out of there. He even tells Mist that he tried to warn Raguna, but he just "didn't flee fast enough". Despite his rivalry for Mist's love, he seemed genuinely concerned for Raguna and even checked to make sure he was ok!
Veering the discussion back to Raguna, Mist also mentions that Raguna "fights with a certain noble flair". I wonder what that looks like? I interpret that he has good form, especially with one-handed swords (taken from my experience of experimenting with other weapons).
Overall, Toros Cave was very fitting for today's row because Raguna spent ALL day in it. He woke up in the cave, took on the boss, and then spent the rest of the day chopping ALL the wood there. By the end of the day, he had half the amount of wood needed to upgrade his house!

I love how clear the "cave eras" are!!
