So many people are confused by the title "The Rise Of Skywalker" and who it could be referring to.
Luke died in TLJ and even though his voiceover on the teaser trailer said "no one is ever really gone", it is doubtful that the title is referring to him since TLJ focused heavily on him.
Sadly, it isn't referring to Leia with the unfortunate passing of Carrie Fisher.
Many speculate that Rey will finally be confirmed to be a Skywalker. But I doubt that due to Rey's parents basically being confirmed and they weren't Skywalker in TLJ. Also can we talk about how Star Wars tweeted "#reylo". If that doesn't mean reylo is cannon then I don't know what does. And this isn't Game of Thrones so I don't think any form of incest will make it into Star Wars (even though Luke and Leia kissed).
So what other known character possibly could/does have Skywalker blood?
Kylo Ren.
Many theories have speculated that Kylo Ren will be redeemed eventually. Well this is the last movie in this saga so if he is going to be redeemed, it will happen in IX.
But Kylo already has a 'light side' name, Ben Solo. But in TFA Kylo tells his father that Ben Solo is dead. So he won't want to be called Ben Solo.
Kylo isn't very fond of his father, since he was absent for most of Kylo's childhood. We also know that Kylo is basically a momma's boy. If he is coming going to be redeemed to the light side or a possible grey Jedi, he is going to use his mother's last name.
Also it is his theme playing at the end of the new IX teaser trailer when the title "The Rise Of Skywalker" is revealed.
Ben Skywalker.
