hey what’s up
Nothing much. Just the usual existential crisis.
Nice catching up with you. We should totally talk more
let’s discuss the Star Wars footage
doodles
So I just saw TLJ for the seventh and final time in theaters
And I noticed something NEW. When Rey’s in that trippy-inception-vision (you know the one), what makes her turn around is a little boy’s voice saying, “Rey?”
I don’t know why, but it took me until THIS VIEWING to realize... is that Ben? Ben, as a child? We’ve theorized that this force bond has existed all their lives, though not as intensely and REAL as it does now. Could that be Ben calling out to Rey, either from the past to the future, or a memory from a long-forgotten vision?

I just had the most intense Star Wars dream last night
It took place in ROTJ and it had Luke confronting Vader, but somewhere off screen Luke had managed to fall in love with someone long enough to get her pregnant and now there was an infant baby, but the mother was no longer involved for some unknown reason (it's assumed she died).
So to protect his most likely force-sensitive baby (which happened to be a girl) from the wrath of the Empire, Luke put her in a stasis chamber with a password only he knows, but not before taking a picture as a keepsake.
So, he goes to confront Vader, and all the usual stuff except now there's one more added plea to appeal to his humanity. "Father, I have a child now."
"Where is the child?"
"She is safe in stasis. Only I know the combination to her chamber."
"I see"
Vader now thinks he's bluffing to appeal to his humanity.
Then the events happen as normal for the end of ROTJ except at the very very end, when Vader dies, Luke hands him the picture of the baby as well as removing his mask.
He gets to see that he's a grandfather, just as he's good again, just before he dies.
I wonder who’ll say ‘I love you’ first in EPIX?
