 𓎟𓎟 𝙴𝚈𝙴𝚂 𝙾𝙽 𝙼𝙴.      જ 𖤐    ㅤ   𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐈𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐉𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝑾𝑨𝑻𝑪𝑯𝑬𝑫 𝐇𝐈𝐌.  the mask like face, tilting the slightest. the unnaturally wide toothy smile stretching his featureless white visage almost uncanny as piercing golden hues gaze down at him.  the bright hues lingering perhaps a little too longer as if to commit his form to memory. a clawed hand enclosing around his almost instantaneous. almost too 𝑬𝑨𝑮𝑬𝑹 in his motion.  those eyes…the flutter  he can hear in his chest.  ⸻   its unsettling…delicious... Pierrot shifts. his bells tinkling faintly as he leans down so his voice could be heard to only 𝑯𝑰𝑴.

❝ there's not an ounce of hesitation in my feelings for you my dearest. … will you be coming over tonight, my lord? ❞

     The surprise in Lu Guang's eyes is genuine enough to make them widen, enough to make him stiffen and accept the hand that reaches out for him. In a bit of a daze, Lu Guang stands slowly and, when he staggers, Xia Fei wraps an arm around him, a stalwart support that remains steady. 

     Lu Guang swallows hard and just tries to stave off the dizziness assaulting his senses. Of course it's Xia Fei who happened upon his embarrassing trip and fall. As if it wasn't enough for Lu Guang to land flat on his face in front of him the first time before the modelling shoot. 

     He debates simply stepping away, but his brain decides to churn and jolt, and he's left blinking and staggering a bit after Xia Fei as the other man leads him to a bench to properly sit down. 

     "'M okay," Lu Guang tries to say, then coughs as he's guided to sit down, more heavily than he wants to admit. He doesn't like being so weak out in the open. Why did he volunteer to go out alone to stubbornly prove how healthy he is? He best prepare to be lectured as soon as he returns to the hotel room, he supposes. 

     Still, he should deal with the immediate issue: Xia Fei currently hovering near him like Lu Guang needs to be worried over. He sinks further into the bench and rests his elbows on his thighs, then his forehead in his palms. He just needs to steady himself and it'll be fine. 

     "... I'm really okay," Lu Guang assures again, though he keeps his head down, making his voice muffled and unconvincing.

crimson eyes burned like twin suns going supernova, dying in the dark cosmos. the crystalline clone was never one to partake in such meaningless events like the one of performances and songs, broadcast all across the galaxy.

lesser beings were so engrossed with such...meaningless drivel.

and yet, he finds himself here, lingering on the sidelines as one of those weak, lesser creatures sings its swan song. disgust coils in his gut, his tail thrashing behind him. he's not polite, never has been. so he levitates up high, high above all the creatures and entities that had been watching the show.

This sort of praise wasn't something that Till was used to hearing. In fact, he hadn't heard it ever. Not from any one and certainly not from his owner. So hearing it from someone like Ivan? It made him look up at the other with bright eyes. His cheeks were flushed from the praise and he easily found himself nuzzling his head into Ivan's chest. He didn't know that a simple praise like that would make him tremble a little. But oh how he liked it. And why did he want to hear it again? He peaked his head up a little as he looked at Ivan, with simple puppy dog eyes.

The overhead lights hummed softly between the rows of shelves, throwing pale gold over the polished floors and the spines of books that had been touched by hundreds of hands before being forgotten again. Behind the front desk, a woman way sorting through a stack of returned books, slipping receipt slips from between pages and smoothing down bent covers with absent fingers. her name was Elanor... from what he had overheard countless times over his semi-daily visitations. It had been an ordinary shift so far. Slow. Uneventful. The kind that let the mind wander too far if given the chance. That was probably why she always noticed him so quickly.

 He was a frequent patron. always checking out the books HE left out on the recommended display window. he now stood between the aisles like he had been placed there carefully, one hand resting along the spine of a book he wasn’t pulling free. Pink hair fell messily around his face, bright against the muted browns and greens of the shelves, though the blue threaded through it caught when he tilted his head beneath the light. His sweater looked soft. His posture looked softer. Everything about him seemed harmless at first glance — the lowered lashes, the small, almost nervous curve of his mouth, the way his fingers hesitated over the books as though he was afraid to disturb them, the oversized cardigan doing little for his imposing height.

         “ luci -- ” he clapped a hand over his mouth to stop himself before the name could really be heard. lucina didn’t go by lucina when she was wearing that mask, did she?

     why was she here? and why was she wearing that mask again?
