#reverse fixinit concept

Oh heck yeah, I love yapping...

My AUs (FIXINIT & modified Reverse Falls) are mostly focused on the 1980s era

What makes my FIXINIT! Bill and Will so different is how their origins are reflected on their designs;

My Bill was given a second chance by the Axolotl, his human form was manifested through Ax's magic, and it was aimed to mimic humanity as close as possible, while also keeping his unique essence. This Bill was been through the Theraprism, he had a chance to learn empathy, guilt and a chance to grow, and even his powers were revoked for a good while.

Now, onto Will: Will's human form has nothing to do with the Axolotl here, instead, it was manifested through a deal (more on that later). The goal here was not to give him the human experience, instead, to give him a physical anchor, a way for him to exist in this dimension and to contain all his magic. All his magic is intact, but strictly contained (more on that later). Humanity is not the main focus, and in return, Will's human form ended up looking... Uncanny, more fae or unnatural than anything. That's why he only has four fingers, and by latest addition, a tail.

Also? Onto the pupil dynamics: My Bill does not only have cat pupils, but in a lot of ways, acts like one. Just to name a few; purrs, hisses, tends to be either super clingy or alarmingly distant at times, but in the end, he is ultimately loyal to his chosen one. Will, however? He chirps, tilts his head like a pigeon, decorates himself and his space with feathers, and to be fair, he's a vain little prick. And also, symbolism; Bill is a stray cat to be tamed. Will is a bird in a gilded cage.

Now, onto the deal; Of course, Will's deal is with none other than Ford Gleeful. Also, he was tricked into it against his will, in a moment his vigilance was weaker than usual, a single slip-up. The details are not quite clear yet; I jokingly see this interaction as something like...

"Hey muse, can you promise to me that you would always stay by my side? :3"

"Yeah, sure, why not— HEYYY!!"

So, of course, a lot of things are to be figured out.

Now, Will's role in the Gleeful Manor is also interesting. Formally, he is Ford Gleeful's personal servant... But frankly, anyone could guess that title is just a coverup. I mean, come on, has anyone seen him clean a toilet? Wash the dishes? Doing anything outside of bossing everyone else around? Yeah. Now, assistant is the other thing he is officially called, but that's not really it either. Rumours are going all around the stuff, involving Will's origins. Maybe he's a weirdo cousin from Ohio. Maybe he's a secret lovechild. Maybe he's the Lord's trophy spouse, who he wants to keep a secret for any reason. There was once a theory that he might be a failed experiment, but the one who originally suggested it... Well... They aren't with us anymore.

And, you see, Will, in most cases, doesn't really mind this setup. He loves a good challenge, that's for sure. But all the rescrictions in his freedom are... Pissing him off. He's not allowed to wear what he wants. He's not allowed to go outside the manor alone. He's not allowed near sharp objects. Hell, he's not allowed to bathe on his own! Always be polite in public, always respect Gleeful, always as for permission and never show your true nature. All the rules, requirements and restrictions are driving him batshit INSANE!

Ford, of course, knows how to contain it. The most precious quality of Will is his magic. Because, as I said, Will has ALL of his powers intact, but contained. Several binding runes a itched into his skin, his gloves are lines with power-restricting sigils, to make absolutely sure that he is incapable of using any of his magic — Except if Ford explicitly allows it. And I'll have you know, the main power source of Ford's underground occult activities is Will himself. For starters, his literal blood is shimmering gold, with the highest concentration of magic Ford has ever seen! A few drops of it is enough to power a magical amulet! And he has the source itself in his possession!

Of course, in order to get anything out of Will's magic at all, he had to make sure Will isn't physically dangerous, hence the restrictions. Because, let's be real here. Ford is terrified of what's Will capable of. That's right, he's still just a paranoid worrywart at heart. He knows that Will doesn't like his lack od freedom or autonomy, and that the first chance he gets, he wouldn't hesitate to turn against him. So, he makes sure it doesn't happen.

But hey, don't be mistaken; My Will is just as much of a prick as Canon! Bill is. But instead of fear and control, he thrives on awe and pity. And to be honest, he was doing it better (while he could).

Will Cipher is known for being a gentle, polite, graceful spirit, who could absolutely cry a river if he wanted; But none of those tears are ever real. He is a master at using emotions and feelings to his advantage, it is rather rare for him to show anything genuine.

Anyway... I did mention that I wanted to have my own twist on Reverse Falls, so I was thinking about a possible way to mashup FIXINIT & Reverse Falls.

So, keep in mind that this idea is not offical yet, just a possible idea I might use in the future;

So, as we know, in my plain FIXINIT AU, Bill is transferred back in time to the 80s, to clear his slate.

Now, how would that look reversed? My basic idea is, what if Will got loose at some point, and Weirdmageddon happened? In this timeline, Will finally got his freedom back, and one of the first things he's done was to get rid of Gleeful. Possibly in a rather gruesome way, to "return the favor".
