Samantha & Benās Lord of the Rings Themed Wedding June 23, 2017, was held at Morningside Inn a country wedding venue in Frederick, Maryland. The couple had 120 wedding guests for their Friday evening wedding ceremony and reception.
Wedding Ceremony
Before Samantha & Benās Lord of the Rings Themed Wedding June 23, 2017, the bridal party arrived a couple hours before the wedding ceremony to prepare in the brideās room.Ā At Morningside Inn the brideās room is actually a large makeup room and a sitting room. These adjoining rooms provideĀ plenty of space and mirrors for the bridal party to make their final touches to gowns and makeup. Samantha chose a gorgeous wedding bouquet with an assortment of pink, red, and lavender flowers.
The groomsmen prepared in the groomās room that also is equipped with lots of large mirrors. The groom and his party took photographs on the side lawn and driveway, just steps from the groomās room entrance. The layout at Morningside ensures there is no chance of theĀ groom gaining a peak of the bride before the wedding ceremony.Ā
Wedding Reception
The dining room tables were decorated with white linens and topped with solid dark green linen. Their tables were named after different town in the Shire and each decorated a lantern, flower pot, and Tolkien inspired bookmark party favor. The couple chose a buffet dinnerĀ for their wedding guests. Chef Tim prepared special plates for vegetarian guests. The white wedding cake displayed above two tiers of delicious cupcakes.Ā The bride made the cake topper which was a super cute clay hobbit version of the couple. The couple cut their wedding cake with an elven sword.
