The famous "Gaiares is Number One!" magazine Ad for SEGA Genesis & published by Renovation Products in 1991. This Ad is a scan from Electronic Gaming Monthly, 1991 and featured Pro Gamer Jamie Bunker, a game tester at Renovation Products at the time of the original release. For the 2021 Retro-Bit re-release, Jamie Bunker, mullet not included, returned to recreate the original magazine advertisement to promote the launch.
The special edition physical-only re-release featured an embellished slipcover, reversible cartridge sleeve, full-colored instruction manual, a translucent Tektite cartridge, and certificate of authentication. The limited-edition set also included an exclusive interview with Bunker, who reminisced about becoming the face of the game by being featured in several magazine ads in the 90s.

Retro-Bit publishing new Metal Storm NES cartridges ⊟
Well, this is new. I’ve seen new cartridges of Famicom releases, and new “commemorative” cartridges of popular games like Street Fighter 2, but here’s a game being reissued on cartridges that had previously come out here, but has become hard to find. “Exclusively available online at Castlemania and Limited Run Games,” Retro-Bit says. Not sure when, or how much, but... neat!
