I'm feeling really tired lately. My muscles ache, but in a bad way. It's like my body is trying to say "I'm overwhelmed, stop it". So I'll listen to it. I'll start again month 2 next Monday. Until then, I'll take some rest.
Rest when needed
So my last week of insanity is this week but I was not able to get myself to do the workout today. Starting a new school schedule and getting used to the homework part again was just a big pain in the butt. I know that this is not an excuse and I am not using it as an excuse. My legitimate excuse is that I hurt my back in which I am not able to most of the exercises. This is not soreness, it is actual pain and I don't even know how this happened. I did the other insanity workouts the last couple of days, but I noticed that I had to modify most of the workouts so that it would not hurt as much but then I realized that I should have probably not done those because then I would not be in so much pain now. So my advice, listen to your body and know the difference between soreness and actual pain. Soreness should be over the next day, if it lasts a couple of days and you are taking painkillers a couple times a day, then take an extra rest day.
