Houndour: Houndour was Axel's first Pokemon. Found in an alleyway when Axel was a teen, this Houndour is short and energetic. It encourages mischief and likes to keep Axel fed due to its own issues of finding food when young. Houndour is also the reason Axel found his first Magnemite after chasing it down and treating it like a toy…

Cautious Magnemite: It is a tad more nervous compared to its curious foil. It worries for the health of its trainer and frequently will shock the Skull grunt when he starts making too many questionable decisions. It has struggles being around Houndour and their troublesome antics

Carbink: Although he won't admit it, Axel always wanted a fairy pokemon growing up. Due to his public reputation and his need for approval from other grunts, he hunted down a Carbink to finally fulfill his wish. Something that was proven sturdy but also holds the slight glimmer to fill his desires

Sableye: This pokemon follows the team for all the wrong reasons. When Axel was sent on a seaside cave mission, this gem-eyed gremlin took note of the shiny stones of Axel's Carbink. With determination, it made countless attacks in the cave before being taken down by Houndour. Due to Axel's soft nature though, he's offered the pokemon shards of rock and gems that he finds as a replacement. Since then, this Sableye has followed the team but never became an official member

Alolan Corsola: A very sleepy Corsola who constantly takes naps. It was accidentally kicked by Axel when he was playing... surveying the seaside trainers. At first, it was ready to curse Axel until he plucked Corsola from the water and treated it properly on the shore with potions. Corsula has since refused to leave Axel's side. It's theorized that they may stay for all the life energy that is produced from Axel's vigorous meals and the lack of responsibility this trainer provides.
