『 I Refute. 』
† Do It Now, Remember It Later — @resora
Yongjin’s brow furrowed heavily, the corners of his lips downturned as he heard the proposal spill from Nakseo’s lips. An eager smile plastered upon her face, carefree and clearly blissfully unaware of the posterity of such a wild idea.
“Absolutely not,” he began, arms crossing quickly over his chest. Shaking his head in disbelief and mild disappointment. “There is absolutely no way I’m going to even entertain the idea of traveling to such a dangerous location.” Immovable in his mentality, he closely resembled a boulder. Yet, how could he not? How could he not refuse Nakseo’s dangerous invitation to travel to an island from a novel they had read.
The island in question was teeming with dangers, the writing made it very clear that the island itself was a danger to anyone’s livelyhood. However, it tempted those who heard its very name with the promise of endless treasure. A glistening bounty hidden with an island teeming with dangers at every twist and turn.
Yongjin, for one, was not going to risk his peace his mind for the thrills of treasure hunting. He had more sense than that. A decent head on his shoulders. It was simply... irresponsible. How could Nakseo even drum up such a thought?
“Didn’t you read the book? You’re going to die. The moment you set foot on that godforsaken island. I’m not going. End of discussion.”
