whooaaa i love flammkuchen! i never thought you could make it with pumpkin, thats such a good idea! sounds tasty as hell, I'll try it

Please post ur hot coco and potato soup resippe I love both of those things!!
oh heck yeah!! here we go!;
Hot Choco (simple);
1.) pour milk in favorite mug. microwave for 40 - 50 seconds. mix 2 spoons of sugar, 1 spoon of unsweetened cocoa powder, and a sprinkle of salt together. take mug out. mix milk, add back in for another 40 - 50 seconds. slowly add in chocolate mixture to cup, mixing the entire time. drink.
(you can add caramel sauce to the cup before adding milk, or add spices to the cocoa mixture, or pretty much do whatever lmao)
Hot Choco (complicated);
Ingredients;
one mug’s worth of milk + ¼ cup milk
herbs (if wanted. i recommend peppermint leaves or lavender.)
1 cup chopped chocolate/chocolate chips
5 spoons of sugar
1.) add milk to a small saucepan and bring to a simmer. if you want herbs, add them now, let simmer for a couple minutes, then remove with a tea strainer/spoon.
2.) add chocolate very slowly, whisking in between. add sugar. (you might need to add more/less depending on your taste.)
3.) remove from heat, allow to cool, pour into mug or drink from the saucepan, im not gonna judge.
Potato Soup;
fair warning; this resippie takes around 2/3 hours, including prep time. employing another family member/friend is very recommended. i am speaking from experience here. seriously.
also i can provide a vegan/vegetarian version if wanted.
Ingredients;
pound of bacon, cut into pieces.
veggies! i usually add 3-4 carrots and 3 celery stalks. all diced.
a whole diced onion
3 - 4 cloves of diced garlic
8 potatoes
an entire container of chicken broth
¼ cup flour
3 tbsp butter
1 cup heavy cream (or ¼ cup butter + ¾ cup milk)
cheese (i recommend cheddar)
1.) get a huge pot. like, seriously, the biggest pot you own. the one that’s half your size. you need a big pot. fry the bacon in said pot until nice and crispy. remove bacon, dispose of all but around ¼ cup of the grease.
2.) fry the onions, celery, and carrots in the grease for about 5 minutes (or until onions are transparent.) add the garlic and saute for another 3 - 4 minutes
3.) add potatoes and saute for yet another 3-5 minutes, then add the broth. it should cover the potatoes- if not, add water. let it simmer until the potatoes are soft.
4.) mix melted butter and flour together in a bowl, then add heavy cream and whisk. add to soup.
5.) mash the soup with a potato masher to make the potatoes smaller + the soup creamier. add spices (i like adding paprika, coriander, baharat, and chili powder in mine) and salt and pepper. make sure to taste test! add bacon + cheese to soup if you like it
6.) there you go! garnish w/ cheese and bacon and serve warm. you will have leftovers. i Promise. if leftovers are too thick, add a tiny bit of milk when reheating.

Hey hi! This is old but could you tell us the chick fil a nugget batter recipe? Here in Mexico there is no chick fil a but i love having copycat recipes to try in this quarantine.
Wish you good health and good vibes!
hey there!! i’m super happy to share it.
I posted the recipe, as well as the recipes for a couple of the sauces here.
This is funny bc I was just looking for something to make! Uh, I've got rice (so much rice), mushrooms, and various beans
oh my goodness i absolutely adore rice!! i think it’s probably bc my family’s filipino so i grew up eating so much rice,,, rice with everything…
you didn’t really specify what you liked so i came up with two variations! they’re both pretty easy (or at least, i think so.) you can also mess around with them a lot!
Mushroom Stir-fry (savory)
Ingredients;
1 cup of rice
1 cup of beans (precooked or canned)
½ cup of mushrooms
2 - 4 tbsp of soy sauce
1/3 cup of cooking oil/butter
2-3 cloves of garlic
½ of an onion
salt, pepper, + any other spices you like
1.) cook rice according to the directions on the packaging (usually 1 cup of water to 1 cup of rice.) you can cook it in a pot or in a rice maker, either works.
2.) add oil to a large skillet over medium heat. get oil to frying temperature (place a wooden spoon in the oil to test if it’s ready. if it bubbles around the wood, it’s ready.) add garlic and onions and fry until they’re transparent. add mushrooms and add in soy sauce.
3.) reduce heat and add rice and beans. spice to liking and eat while warm!
Rice and Bean Burritos w/ Dipping Sauce (savory/sweet)
Ingredients;
1 cup of rice
1 cup of beans (precooked or canned)
½ cup of mushrooms
1/3 cup of cooking oil/butter
2-3 cloves of garlic
½ of an onion
salt, pepper, + any other spices you like
tortillas
¼ cup of honey
½ tbsp orange juice
½ cup of soy sauce
1 tsp sugar
1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
1.) like the last recipe, cook the rice, fry garlic and onions, and add mushrooms. fry rice and beans, add spices.
2.) cook tortillas. when cooked, add the filling to the center and wrap up. add back onto the pan and cook slightly.
3.) for the dipping sauce; whisk honey, orange juice, soy sauce, sugar, and balsamic vinegar together. adjust ingredients to taste! dip the burritos in sauce or drizzle over the top.
(i made the sauce from scratch as part of my culinary final, so the ingredients might not be super precise, but i can guarantee it’s really good!)
