20- Pietro Maximoff 9- Pepper Potts 1- Wedding Planner 2-- Geek/Jock
“So how did the two of you meet?” Pietro smiled across the table at his newest clients.
“Lucy here was sitting across from me on the train.”
“And Amanda here wouldn’t stop staring.”
“So eventually I decided to stop looking like a stalker.”
“And here we are, five years later.”
Pietro joined in the pair’s laughter. “That is truly a fun story. Now, do you have any ideas at this stage?”
“No, we really want to explore our options.”
“Easy done. I can arrange a schedule that allows you to be exposed to a wide variety of options, while also not overwhelming you both. How does that sound?”
“That’s it?” Amanda asked. “I expected this to be much more difficult.”
“Ah, you see, you made a rather important decision.” Pietro smiled, leaning across the table as if sharing a big secret. “You chose the best wedding planner in town. I shall see you next week, if that is alright?”
As soon as the door closed behind the pair, it opened again. Pietro frowned, not having an appointment scheduled.
“I know i don’t have an appointment, but I thought you might have some time for me?”
PIetro stood up, arms open. “I always have time for you, my love.”
Pepper happily hugged Pietro, closing her eyes as he took her weight. “Nice to see you.”
“You sound exhausted. Tough training?”
“No idea,” she muttered, lifting her head and kissing Pietro’s cheek. “Why do I do this to myself?”
“Olympics?” Pietro asked, knowing the answer as soon as he said it.
Pepper sighed, tightening her hold on Pietro. “Olympics, right. What’s that like?”
“You’ll know soon enough.” Pietro let go of Pepper, keeping one arm around her as he picked up his appointment book. “Would you look at that, I’m free for lunch.”
“I’d rather just go home,” pepper admitted.
Pietro shrugged, leaning in close to Pepper. “Who says that wasn’t what I had in mind?”
Pepper smiled, giving Pietro a kiss. “Lead the way.”
