Cold hands splay across your stomach, your warm skin turning frigid under his cold touch. His breath is heavy on your neck as his hands touch every part of you that his eyes linger on. Kihyun’s whole demeanour is different just the sight of you evokes a feeling within him that he can’t seem to stop and he smiles as a soft moan falls from your lips in ecstasy as his teeth lightly rake over the blank canvas of your neck. Kihyun closes his eyes briefly enjoying the moment for a few seconds till his fingers reach your parted lips and his eyes open as his index finger swipes over your swollen lips.

“You look beautiful like this.” Kihyun murmurs, his eyes casting over your form hidden by a pale sheet, your hair messy and an adorable tired look across your features. You kiss the pad of his index finger as he shifts himself on the bed. He moves himself so that he’s so close to you he can hear your sharp intake of breath when he produces yet another love bite on your neck.

“I’d do anything to spend the rest of my days just like this.” Kihyun says, caressing your cheek with such tenderness that you feel the need to attach your lips to his. “Just the two of us in bed kissing and holding each other close. Cuddling. All. Day.”

You sigh in content at just the idea of being with Kihyun for the rest of the day but also the rest of your life, there was no doubt that you’ve thought of Kihyun as your soulmate once or twice. You hate him sometimes (especially when he’s in a bad mood, or when he annoys the heck out of you)—but it was love. You loved Kihyun with your entire being and you wanted to spend the rest of your life with him.

“What do you think, love?” Kihyun asks and you roll over so that you’re leaning on your side facing him, you look at him the same way he looks at you—pure adoration written all over your faces.

“I think that I love you a lot.” You say and Kihyun beams widely as his fingertips brushes over the exposed skin on your hips as gentle as ever. He pulls you in closer to him, arms wrapping around your waist and drawing you in closer to him so that your lips are painstakingly close.

“Well babe, you’re in luck because you’re all I want. You’re the literal love of my life.” Kihyun declares, pecking the top of your head before pulling back to look at you again. “I love you so much.” You smile widely to the point that your cheeks ache but you don’t care because it’s worth it. He’s worth it.

You don’t say anything else but instead watch in suspense as Kihyun moves closer to you, eyes shutting close almost in instinct as he presses his lips to yours. Bliss consumes you as Kihyun takes you to a place of pure satisfaction as he kisses you deeply and desperately, as if he’s trying to say words he couldn’t speak. His hands pull at you with hunger pulling you so close against his body you can hear his heart beat. Kihyun needs you be close and to feel the warmth of your body on his. It’s what he craves.

He pulls back hushing your whimpers and whines and presses a tender loving kiss to your forehead. “Want to be with you. Forever.” He says so quietly, that he’s sure you didn’t hear him but you did. You smile widely at him, looking into his brown eyes that you find yourself getting lost in most of the time.

“Forever.” You whisper just as quietly as he did. You study his features as they illuminate at your words, and how he tries to stop himself from grinning so widely, because of how happy he is. How happy he is to just be with you. You roll your eyes at his attempt to stop grinning, so you let your lips touch the corner of his lips and once those creases he gets whenever he smiles appear, you leave kisses all over them as his hold over you tightens.

You press your lips press to his again. He smiles deeply into the kiss as you show him your love with him in one small but important kiss. When you part, Kihyun says suddenly, “Let’s go get a ring, or a bracelet, or whatever. I just want to get you something with my name on it.” He says but you just laugh and shake your head in response.

Your hands cup his face smiling ear to ear at the man you love, “I don’t care about all that, I know your name already.” It’s then that Kihyun knows that he can’t wait.

“Let’s get something today.” He says and he watches your eyebrows raise in confusion.

“Do we have to?” You ask as your thumb strokes over the warm flesh of Kihyun’s cheek. “We never get to cuddle in the mornings because of your busy schedule, and now…” You pause to take a look at the clock before looking back at Kihyun. “Now, we have hours before your next schedule which also means all the time in the world to cuddle.”

“Fine, we’ll cuddle, and then go out. I really want to get you something. Or maybe just hold your hand in public and let the world know I’m in love. Yup.” Kihyun says and he’s trying his hardest to not sound desperate even though it’s pretty much written in his voice. All he wants to do is be with you. Show you how much he loves you.

You smile at him. “Okay, we’ll do it your way. I just want to cuddle you after a thousand years without. I missed my little spoon.” Kihyun’s eyes widened at that, one step away from getting mad at how you said it, but also ashamed at how he had missed it too. He kisses you passionately and when he pulls back, he murmurs his love for you in all the languages he knows (or has been learning).
