It took a month to get my refund, so for the anon asking.. it takes awhile, just be patient. If you don’t receive anything after 30 days of it being processed on your student account, then let them know and they will re-issue it for you. That’s what they told me.
I requested a refund from York but I haven’t heard anything back from them. How long does it usually take?

Unless you’re dropping out or have previously graduated, the school does not issue refunds except for in March, July, and November. That’s what I read on the refund page where you go to request one.

If you’re the same anon who’s asking all the refund questions, you should contact York if you’re concerned about this like I already suggested. I haven’t requested a refund in a long time so I don’t know how long it takes or what they’re doing now.

It’s been two weeks (more than 10 business days) since I requested a refund and still haven’t received anything.. is this normal?
I’m not sure because I haven’t used their new online system for refunds. I would recommend contacting York about this.

How long does it usually take to receive a refund?
Well, shouldn’t it only take a few days if they’ve switched to online banking? I don’t know. Previously, it used to take 10 business days as they would mail a cheque to the student.

OSAP person here: it says they deposited my money, and that it was deducted to pay my tuition, but my tuition was already paid and nothing was deposited into my bank account. This is a few thousand dollars now not accounted for, with the dates to be released having passed. What can I do to find out where my money went?
“OSAP person here again: Sorry never mind, they sent way too much to my student account and now that balance is a large negative. Can I just request a refund to get this money? Or do I need to wait till the end of the summer semester?”

I connected my bank account and everything I needed to do for receiving my refund for opting out of the health plan but still have not received my funding and I requested my refund last month so I'm very confused... along with the opt out refund I also dropped a course that I had paid for already so I requested a refund for both of those things but It says refunds occur in November I think so should I wait until November or should I contact someone??
It says the refunds will be processed by the December statement (December 18) for health plan refunds, but once it is already processed, you should be able to request one earlier. If it doesn’t show up in your transactions, then it has not been processed.
