“Is that really you, Meryl??!” Milly exclaimed with a mixture of surprise and immense relief, voice tinged with joy. “Ohhh, am I glad to see you here! Seriously so happy!” Milly doesn’t leave much room for a response before lifting Meryl up in an almost bone-crushing embrace, cheek rubbing against her own. It sure is scary being in a completely new environment, but it can’t be all too bad if Meryl is here with her! She almost always knows just what to do, and she’s almost certain this is no different. After a moment that felt both too short yet perfectly reassuring, Milly reluctantly released Meryl from the hug, making sure to set her down gently. Her hands linger on her shoulders for a few moments longer as if to ensure she was real and truly there. "Oh, wow! Did you even get a new hat? I like it."
