picture this: namine has scary dog privilege because repliku follows her around like a lost puppy (namine's actually taller than her but repliku wears giant platform boots and could pick her up with one arm). being used to their dynamic of lonely outcasts, repliku gets insecure when namine, who's perfect to her, might prefer someone over her, who has nothing, because if she has other options, she might not need her anymore. this logic does not seem to apply to repliku having friends, partially because she’s too biased to consider namine might also feel jealous and empty. they're so attached at the hip that namine brings her emotional support “ex”/best friend on any dates she goes on. repliku glares at them the whole time while namine basically sits on her lap. namine usually does not get second dates because they either ghost her or get weird about repliku hanging around. namine doesn't stop bringing her anyways, but when she realized they might be too codependent she brought up the idea of taking some distance, so repliku ran away crying fully believing namine hated her, making namine think repliku hated HER. that being said basically nothing about their relationship changed after a week because repliku came back and they kind of talked and namine missed having someone who made her feel like the most important person in the world + she was afraid of upsetting her again. not seeing each other for a few years Would be good for them. instead of fully talking it out or even arguing they do this repeatedly for years and switch between being miserable and the happiest people ever. probably kissed once. they somehow still figure it out before soriku
