I think Colonel should be bald. Not Sigma type of bald, but like, how X was supposed to look like this without his helmet in the toy line:
Colonel was never designed to remove his cap….
That’s quite sad when you think about it, but fitting. It’s who he’s, and there’s nothing more to him than his tittle.
GUESS WHO STILL HASN’T DIED OF A STRESS-INDUCED HEART ATTACK (SOMEHOW!!!!!)
I HAVE
SO MUCH SHIT TO DO.
YOU WILL EAT YOUR MECHASLOP AND YOU WILL FUCKING LIKE IT
oh also i draw non-mecha pokemon too now, sometimes. maybe i’ll post those here too (probably not).
here they dreamed about tomorrow, but tomorrow never came...
💪A clash of titans! 💪

Commission of Friend’s Discord OC, Charity, a medic for the Repliforce and eventually the Hunters!
Lieutenant (featuring my oc Ebony) for @skymacaroon
I love your analysis! I think there should be an AU/story where Necrobat tries to separate himself from Sigma’s legacy/crimes, but is hunted down because of his origin. Also, what’s your opinion on manga!Web Spider?
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it! And I agree, and AU focusing on Dark Necrobat attempting to be his own person would be interesting! It would be a good chance to examine how people, both in the context of Mega Man and real life, can have trouble separating the child from the parent. It would also explain why he takes the actions he does in X5. Rejected by the Hunters and society, but also wanting nothing to do with his father. As a result, he ends up becoming a maverick for his own sake (or maybe, the virus gets a hold of him, and he never had a shot in the first place). As for Manga!Web Spider, from what I can gather about him, he seems to be a perfect example of why Repliforce's mission didn't work out. What I mean by this is that, despite not being infected with the virus, he takes actions that allow the public and narrative to treat him as a maverick - just like Repliforce as a whole (building a weapon that is capable of wiping out the entire Earth doesn't exactly scream "Chill Dudes Who Are Misunderstood", after all). For instance, he didn't have to attempt using Repliforce's cannon to try taking out a city full of people. He did that because he wanted to. He was angry at humanity for how they treated reploids, and he wished to get their goat while he still could. With his actions on their own, it's kind of hard to sympathize with Web. Repliforce built that cannon as a means of self-defense (...allegedly. Again, it's a little hard to believe that when it can take out an entire planet), and here Web comes, making a situation that's already bad for them worse. ...But at the same time, Web is also the source of this monologue:
Now it's a lot easier to see where he's coming from.
He saw humanity and reploids as trapped in an endless cycle where reploids would be subservient to their creators, grow tired of it until they saw violence as the only way to change things, act on that belief, get labeled Maverick/Irregular, and inevitably get killed by reploids (Hunters) who acted on humanity's behalf. Did Web Spider do what he did out of anger? Yes. But that's not the only reason he had: he saw destroying that city as a means to an end, the natural course of things. And that makes sense: after all, human revolutions are often bloody. The French Revolution, the American Revolution, so on and so forth - the oppressed taking up arms against their oppressors is considered to be a staple in these sorts of events.
And if humans could go to war when they felt their rights and freedoms were being violated... well, why not reploids?
With that sort of perspective in mind, I almost feel bad for Web Spider. His logical, yet non-empathetic philosophy got him killed, the first life to be taken by X in a war - a war that ultimately proved what Web said to be true.
Repliforce being taken down didn't end the threat of mavericks, after all.
Not in the slightest.
