2015 - Repress Heaven
So it seems that two great albums are being repressed soon. Firstly, the news that Daft Punk’s soundtrack to Tron Legacy is getting its re-issue on vinyl. The only difference being that this version will not be numbered it seems, but retains all the features of the original pressing with the glow in the dark sleeve. It may come at a price, around £31 for that, but it’s better than the £100+ that it’s at least being sold for on discogs.
On the back of that news, Moby’s album “Play” is being re-issued. An amazon listing has appeared for it, with no image, but a proposed release date of October 30th, 2015, and listed at £21.55. This would be another much needed repress as the copies from the last time this happened are going on discogs at around £160.
The only thing to wait for now is a repress of Aphex Twin’s SAW Vol. 2 and it will be the year of the great repressings.
