I use Firealpaca's symmetry tool most of the time (that's what the sketch's X is for, placing the "middle" marker)

Ears are 3-d and kinda curl towards the sides, w/the thicker skin at the further bases twisting in towards the eyeball

Just like a human, nose bridge leads into the "eyebrows"!

Cats kinda have this triangle cheekbone thing going w/how their fat/fur works..

So when I think about the underlying structure vs the fat/fluff, I try to keep that bone structure in mind.

Orientals are Like That™️ partially bc they don't...really have cheeks?

Cobby cats however have a LOT of cheek!

The way their mouths work can make it hard to learn how to differentiate smiling vs just...Being Round. Bc of that I tend not to draw the jowls, and when I do, it's a disconnected line, so it doesn't look like an extension of the expressive part of the mouth

Don't forget that line coming down from the nose! It's always there, and it can't open/never splits
