There's far more cats than shown here, however, most of them don't have names or designs. Plus, I don't care too much about the extended families of certain characters on the tree.
To start, we have Lady Zhu and Wang. The characters from Lady Zhu to Diyu were meant to look alot like each other. So, since I had decided to make Mihou a point, Lady Zhu, Sying, and Diyu all had to be points too.
Lady Zhu is a warm blue point with low white. She's solid and longhair, and that's all we know for now. Her husband Wang is a solid black shorthair cat. I gave him a bit of white for fun.
Their daughter Sying is meant to look alot like her mother, so another blue point. Wang is now carrying for siamese point and dilution to give to Sying. While she doesn't need white herself, and her parents are both low white, so it's possible for her to be "w/w". But her mate has no white, and both her sons do, so she has to have a bit of white to pass. it doesn't really matter which parent she gets the S or w from. Sying is also shorthair like her father, carrying longhair because that's all her mother had to give.
Sying's mate Wuye isn't much of a character, but exists. He's a basic black tabby shorthair with mackerel stripes. But he has to carry for both solid and longhair for each of his sons.
The older son is Liuxing. Like his father, he is a black mackerel tabby. He gets a "l" for longhair from each parent, and a little white from Sying, both because he originally had white tipped dark fur, and to keep his dark blue eyes.
The younger son is Mihou, the star of this branch. Just like his mother, Mihou is a point, so Wuye is carrying "cs" now. Mihou also gets his dad's "D" for non-dilute.
Liuxing has a single daughter with his mate Lihua. Lihua is a cream classic tabby with low white. Their daughter, Xinghua is a classic blue torbie with low white. Alot of cats in this family had blue or purple eyes, so the non-points needed some white.
Just like Shihou, Mihou had a single child before getting together. However, Diyu isn't a clone and has an actual other parent. For simplicity, Yin is dominant white, with her second allele being either "S" or "w", since Mihou is "S/w" and so is Diyu.
Diyu is based off a character with fire powers, so I just had to make him a flame point. Yin can be hiding ginger and at least one "cs" for her child. Now, Mihou is solid, so I could say Diyu is genetically solid, but...
...she has two tabby children with a solid cat. So, Yin is now also hiding tabby under her white. To make things a little easier down the line with Mihou's kids with Shihou, I'm going to say Mihou is carrying cinnamon that he got from either of his parents, which he then gives to Diyu, who passes it on to Dan so she can still look as red as she can be with a ginger parent and a non-ginger parent.
Xu was where I had to decide which of these AMAB cats was getting their Y replaced with a second X, since Xu is X/Y himself. I could have gone the easy route genderwise and made the effeminate genderfluid be X/X, but that complicates Diyu's genetics and sends his ass to tortie town. So, instead, I made Nezha X/X for this. (the bio kids were made via ritual in the story, so I guess I could've used a donor, but this was more fun to me, I like the challenge.)
Xu originally was more red and black, so I had to get creative to avoid making him a male tortie. I ended up making him golden. I think I originally was using widebanding specifically when I made this tree, because the Yellowfang video hadn't came out yet and I didn't know much about sunshine at the time. He's a black golden with classic stripes. Diyu and Dan are both Mackerel tabbies, so Diyu would have to be Mc/mc to be carrying classic. And Diyu's grandmother would have to have at least one mc under her solid to give their uncle, so she could have given that same mc to Mihou, who gave it to Diyu while Yin gave him mackerel, and then Diyu could give that mc to Xu. Nezha is also carrying mc under his solid.
Both Nezha and Diyu are siamese points, so both bio kids are too, with Xu being warmer than his sister.
Lixin is adopted, so he gets to stay a brown tux.
And here's the family Nezha came from. I had decided to make Jing golden under his solid since widebanding only shows on tabbies. Since the picrew didn't have a gradient for golden, I basically used WB/wb for Widebanding/none(I don't remember if this model had golden as dominant or not, but that's how I treat it here). Jing is WB/wb so Jinzha can be golden like his name(Jin means gold), Nezha can hide golden under his solid to give Xu, and Muzha can take that wb to be non-golden.
Lady Ying has no golden to give, so Nezha has a wb to give to Dan to keep her non-golden.
Jing is also carrying cs to make Nezha a point, and mc to give Muzha to make him classic. Lady Ying also needs to carry mc to give Muzha. Nezha only needs one mc to give Xu, and Diyu is already giving the other kid Mackerel, so it doesn't really matter which parent gives it to him.
And that's all for this part of the tree. Technically, Nezha and Diyu have another partner now, but that guy has a giant family tree that loops back around to a cat later down the tree who is mates with Nezha's cousin. It's a mess and I don't want to cover all of them. That other partner doesn't matter for genetics anyway because he has no bio kids yet.
Next will be Mihou and Shihou's kids together. That's gonna be fun...
Hope you enjoyed this part of the tree!
Golden such a good good trick to avoid male torties.....
