If blood drinking in vampire stories is a common metaphor for sex, I think that one scene where Renfield stabs Seward in the hand is the "hatefuck" of the analogy.
I know vsauce jokes are a little overplayed by now but this one is very Seward-and-Renfield to me and I felt compelled to share it
