I think I'm done watching the show for this season (: I want the shows ratings to drop since they didn't even honor their own rules about renominations

Hey yo. I have to questions because I'm literally so naive when it comes to terms. What is the renom rule and what does "stan" mean?
Heyo! First, I’m just going to say that every blog on this tag has some bias (except for the ones that only post weekly recaps) because we all have our favorites. :)
1. The #RenomRule became a nationwide hashtag trend on Twitter. It supposedly refers to a rule in the BB rulebook stating that the HOH is not allowed to explicitly tell a HG that they will be going on the chopping block as a nominee. Apparently this rule was enforced back in Season 12 during Brendon’s HOH reign. He supposedly (I keep saying supposedly because we can’t confirm that this is 100% true) was not allowed to nominate Britney Haynes because of violating this rule.
2. A “stan” is “an overzealous maniacal fan for any celebrity or athlete.” (Source: Urban Dictionary). It is a reference to one of Eminem’s songs, but nobody remembers that anymore and just uses the term as they see fit lol. So you usually use the word in a negative way by calling someone a stan for being a fan who behaves ridiculously toward issues concerning the celebrity they are “stanning”. But, some people also proudly identify as a stan for a given celebrity and will support that celebrity to great lengths.
Hope this response isn’t too long and answers your two questions! Have a great day/night (depending on wherever you are)! :)
Can we agree that Zach needs to stay in this house
The Big Brother fanbase is incredibly ridiculous this year.
Case in point, #renomrule might be the most fucking stupid thing I have ever seen in the history of the show
I love how Britney Haynes herself is like, "What Renom Rule? I still went home twice!"

If Ariana Grande is demanding the renom rule you fucking enforce the renom rule.
Ya'll are so desperate to see some vanilla white kid with no applicable skills win this competition that you be like: "Frankie was in the room adjacent to Zach and Rule #397 in the Big Brother Rulebook clearly states that a Head of Household cannot breathe the same air as the houseguest they wish to nominate."
