New Year’s Ramen Honours List Lady Rosemary is still recycling her Christmas turkey so Uncle decided she needed a break and took her to Ajisen Ramen in the Hairdresser’s Car, a short hop from her mansion in Parnell. A warm welcome awaited us from Tracy at front of house and even Chef Jim came from the kitchen to bow and say こんにちは Kon'nichiwa. Lady Rosemary just had morning tea of Queen Elizabeth cake with Earl Grey so she said she couldn’t handle ramen bowls of slurping goodness. Instead she choose edamame, renkon chips and Gyoza with Ajisen mayo and tuna flakes. Uncle went full hog with the Dry Ramen (complete with chilli bean paste) so as to cut down the incidence of unbecoming slurping. Lady Rosemary was so impressed with th food and shop fitout she said she would be bringing her grandchildren here pronto. And her children too.
