Hi! So yes! I had received an ask a while before about maps and finally tried my hand at them!

(sorry in advance because I cannot draw architecture and this is the first time I've ever attempted map making aksdjdjdjd 😫 they are very very sketchy and very much in work 😖)

Renescen in particular I've always imagined sort of fanned out from the Crossing plaza where you enter (different quadrants shaded differently)

Saor I need to actually map out the rings for but basically it is built into a massive bridge that spans across a canyon. The feel of it is drawn a lot from the hanging gardens of Babylon.

And bonus, trying my hand at a world map? (Likely to be edited/added to probably haha)

I do! Well. Sort of. Not actually-fully-nicely drawn out so I need to get to work on building that 😅

But the sheevra live in various climates! The majority of the world is desert (the Arids) with the four oasis cities surrounded by some greenery/other climates. Renescen is the northmost and is on the edge of its particular oasis, and the mountains that it backs to would eventually transition into a more snowy climate. And by oasis, it's a much larger patch than we would think of in our world, but it's caught on as a nickname since the deserts are expanding.

Need to fully place them on a map, but as a preview for the cities: Saor's (Clan Faille'Tor) surrounding area is a mixture of plains and forest, Han (Clan Obsidian) is a coastal city with some parts stilted in the channels and into the sea, and Braka (Clan Moirae) is situated to the west on a series of plateaus.

You'll find out more about the makeup of the Arids eventually too 👀

Old War Siphon: Extending the Briste mountain range

Climate: Temperate

Saor:

Other names include “The Southern City” and “City of Waterfalls”

Sheevra Clan: Faille’Tor

Old War Siphon: Creating the Saor canyon

Climate: Temperate / Tropical

Han:

Other names include “The Eastern City” and “City of Rivers”

Sheevra Clan: Obsidian

Old War Siphon: Creating the network of rivers around the city and its underwater caverns.

Climate: Mild Mediterranean

Braka:

Other names include “The Western City” and “City in the Sky”

Sheevra Clan: Moirae

Old War Siphon: Raising the city onto the three buttes/mesas where it currently rests

Climate: Arid
