hello, i follow you for awesome stuff and you seem to be a 40K fan. i however am not, but i would like to be. where would you recommend that i start to become involved in this seemingly fantastic universe?
Just in case you’re unaware, the base of 40k is a tabletop game. Be warned, it is a big time and money sink to buy and build models. If you don’t want to invest into the game, you can still learn about the universe and all that. Being a broke college kid myself, I don’t buy models anymore.
The Dawn of War games are a great place to start. They’re RTS games, 1 being similar to Starcraft, 2 being squad based with less base building.
Another good way to learn about individual armies is to buy the Codex for the group you’re interested in. In addition to rules and point values for troops and gear, it also gives you a ton of lore on all things related to that race/faction.
