"Rita Bismark, age twenty, reported seeing shadow people in her house. Place gets ransacked, she calls the cops. Local badges say it was probably just a random burglary, but far as she could tell, nothing was stolen.”

From the backseat of the Winchester’s Chevy Impala, Castiel quietly absorbed the information recited by the younger of the two brothers. For the time being, he needed to remain in regular contact with them to stave off the constant meddlings of Angels and Demons. This meant running a case with them from time to time. It allowed them to search for leads on key creatures linked to the apocalypse, while also ridding innocent homes of unrelated evils along the way.

“Take this,” Dean advised, pressing a fake FBI badge into the Angel’s hand.

Before he could protest to being part of this farce, his two companions had stalked up to the door of the young woman’s house and rung the bell.

“Maybe a Deava?” Sam suggested in a hushed tone as they waited for an answer.

“I don’t think so...” Castiel frowned. “Animalistic entities like that scent their territory so they don’t overlap with their own kind on hunting grounds. I don’t smell anything besides overly fruity toiletries coming from the washroom.”

When the door swung upon, all three men raised their badges to incite an air of authority. If Castiel’s badge had not been upside-down, perhaps his stoic expression would have been more imposing.

Dean facepalmed inwardly, but they carried on with their opening lines regardless.

“I’m agent Ackles, this is agent Padalecki, and this is...” he paused to fix the badge with a pointed glare in Castiel’s direction. “Agent Collins. We understand you’ve recently had a home invasion?”

The King jolted in place, nearly tumbling over. He’d been trying to catch Plumwell, who’d gotten VERY good at walking. No, RUNNING.

With the Christmas break fast approaching, all of the professors were tasked with preparing decorations. The Potions master was no exception. He carried a bored expression, comically the polar opposite of Professor Flitwick as both men worked to float ribbons and baubles over some of the trees which Hagrid had set up in the courtyard.
