Unwritten || Rena & Kyungsoo
If there was one thing he didn't like about his job, Kyungsoo would have to say it would have to be all the cleaning up he must do after irresponsible people who had no idea what a cart was. Part of being a librarian was to, after all, shelve books, but it was pretty unreasonable to have to try and scrounge for them in the crevice of every couch cushion, especially when it was just around closing time. Kyungsoo didn't like leaving things unfinished, nor did he like staying over time due to how dark and dreary it could get at night, so he was at a disadvantage when people didn't care at all for where they left the books they had been previously browsing.
Huffing as he cleaned up the mess of books scattered around a particular couch, Kyungsoo paused momentarily to look up and glance at who seemed to be the only library dweller left. After all, the library was closing up, and yet she seemed to be too busy to notice, bent over some work. He peered curiously at her before turning back and grabbing the rest of the books, placing them on a nearby cart before sighing softly and placing his hands on his hips.
The dark-haired male inspected his surroundings thoroughly, making sure there were no more books to pick up, and looked back at the hoard of books on the cart. He was sure he didn't have enough time to put all of them back in their rightful places, and so, with a heavy heart, he resolved to return them on his next shift tomorrow.
Kyungsoo could already feel the unease that came from leaving his work half-finished but tried to ignore it. Turning back towards the female from before, he stared thoughtfully at her and wondered what he should do. Wait for her to get up on her own volition and leave the library? Or go up to her and remind her that the library was closing soon? He'd rather not talk to her, or anyone else for that matter, but it didn't look like she was thinking of getting up any time soon.
Biting his bottom lip and furrowing his eyebrows, he slowly shuffled his way towards her, tugging at his hair and clothes for a reason unknown even to himself. "Um, uh," he began foolishly, "the library is closing up in a few minutes. D-Do you wish to take out any books before I close up the place? Or...or something like that?" He winced at his spectacular wording before carding a hand through his hair, wondering if he should say anything else. But nothing came to mind so he simply kept quiet before he ended up talking his mouth off and really ended up making the woman uncomfortable.
It wouldn't be the first time, after all.
