my god its like a party in here

(redraw of something from 2018 btw. for the nostalgics in the crowd) i went into this with 0 sketch, just kind of scribbling things into the shapes that i wanted and erasing parts i didnt like by hand rather than ctrl zing them a process also known as drawing . and uhhh when im done with the lines i make a layer under it and hand paint every color individually (no filters or colorpicking, i pick every color by hand) over eachother on one layer and everything. and then i handpicked the shading colors and painted them in the same layer as the colors themselves. and then umm i set my lines to preserve opacity and played with their color a bit still by hand. and the blood and tears were all drawn last when the image was fully merged directly onto it. so yeah
