“how is anyone supposed to know this?” connor dropped his head to the table, groaning in annoyance.  the english teaching assistant was taking a test lorelai had designed for her fifth grade students and he, was failing miserably. the first few questions were math and he blamed his failure on the fact that he was an english major. the current questions were history questions and he was not doing well. “how am i supposed to know what year the treaty of wherever this is was signed? why are you doing this to children?”

S H I L O H had heard rumours that he was in town, but she refused to believe them.  refused to acknowledge the murmurings that grayson was around, especially when she had no proof of it with her own eyes.  but it wasn’t something she could ignore when she saw him walking across the street with her own eyes.  a gasp escaped her lips as she met his eyes from across the way.  a beat.  two.  and shiloh shook her head, backing up and making a run for it down the street.  there was no way she was going to handle seeing him, but she could tell he would be close on her tail, so when she spun around and stopped short she saw him standing right there.  “what?” she called to him, practically shouting.  she was upset, but she didn’t want to show it.  didn’t want to give him that satisfaction ( except she was failing, her emotions were written all over her face ).  “what do you want from me?” wasn’t it enough that he left?  couldn’t he just stay gone?  she crossed her arms tight across her chest, looking directly at him.  “well?” she said, asking quieter that time.

——— upon finishing their snapchat conversation just as oscar had said to her in his last message, he wasted no time in making his way to fern’s flat. he was eager to prove himself to the girl, and to prove that he wasn't all talk. there was no time to spared because he knew exactly what he was going to her place for. it wasn’t like it was a surprise with the way the both of them had been talking. with his hand tucking his keys into his pocket, and staying there. after making his way up to her door, he reached to knock at the girl’s door with the back of his knuckle, his eyes at the floor. he took a deep breath, smirking as his eyes trailed up her body. they stopped at her lip as he spoke to her in a low voice. “can i come in?”

when baseball season was over,  garrett had to redirect his athletic ability else. what better way to do that than chasing around little kids at a summer camp? it was generally college aged counselors, looking to get away for the summer.  not ideal to spend it with kids who have trouble spelling their own name sometimes,  but it made for some interesting stories. it was currently arts and crafts time and garrett was whole-heatedly, enthusiastically creating a yarn bracelet. not very pretty and poorly made, the male dropped down next to aurelia, presenting his work of art.  “i misspelled our cabin name, but you know. it’s the thought that counts.”
