Huge thanks to Steve Orlando for wanting me on this project, and to Mostafa Moussa for his inks that pulled the whole thing together.
Here's me 'n Mos at Dragon Con last year, when he delivered the finished inks. Feel free to identify my excellent cosplay.
Here's the lucky Effin' Birds fan (whose name I do not remember and I feel really bad about it) who snagged the original just hours hours after I saw it for the first time.
And here's a photo from last summer at Freddy Beach Fan Fest in New Brunswick, Canada, where, if you look closely, you can see me figuring out the dog.

TECH NERD SHIT: Someone is gonna ask, so that's a ReMarkable 2 with a Staedtler Mars Lumograph Digital stylus. This was my go-to combo for both writing and drawing until recently when I upgraded to a ReMarkable Paper Pro. It's an upgrade in almost every way: colour, storage, speed, battery life. I'm a little bummed that the Paper Pro uses a proprietary stylus, though, because one of the joys of the 2 was this wide world of input devices that have different feels in the hand and different tactile feedback (harder and softer tips, different barrels, etc). The combo of the Staedtler barrel, a hard Mitsubishi / WACOM tip (stolen from the Mitsubishi Hi-Uni Digital stylus, my second-favourite, just a little too short for my big hands), and the pebbled glass of the ReMarkable 2 convinced my body that I was working with a pencil on paper and made me instantly comfortable.
Ship Sunday: Gawaine/Lancelot
Knights of the Round Table doomed to betray each other. This week's Ship Sunday is Gawaine/Lancelot from Arthuriana!
Gawaine and Lancelot are both prominent figures in Arthurian Legend. They meet as rivals, but soon become brothers-in-arms and great friends. Although, depending which stories one follows, they are doomed to betray each other, even leading to their deaths. Many fans are drawn to the pair because of the tragedy of brothers-in-arms growing to hate one another, where others rewrite their story in fanworks, giving them a happier ending.
Are you a fan of this ship? Help us expand their Fanlore page by adding your favorite tropes and fanworks!

An Australian man’s car broke down in the Outback, about 150 km from the nearest town. He walked over 100 km through harsh conditions, knowing help would not come, until a search team found him—remarking that he was in “remarkably fine spirits” despite his ordeal.

I never knew that glitter tattoos were a thing, but they are!! Look at this stunning tattoo!! The use of dots of different colors really looks glittery and the use of light to highlight the piece is spectacular!! And they had to tattoo the stomach which is hard because the skin moves and it's painful for the person getting the tattoo to sit through it. There were a lot of challenges to overcome in this battle and I think the artists did a great job!!! This tattoo won the challenge! I agreed with the judges. It's glittery and I feel like I could just pick it up. It's phenomenal!! 😁😍I love Ink Master. I always learn something new watching it!! Here are some of the other tattoos...
These two captured the glittery effect very well....
These two, not as much, but they're still brilliant tattoos!!
here's four entire minutes of (french) sir gawain on the literal edge of his seat losing his mind watching lancelot sweep the floor with everyone at a jousting match and saying "lanslo" (french for "lancelot") to king arthur every time he wins just in case arthur missed it. one of the many ways arthurian cinema peaked with lancelot du lac (1974) dir. robert bresson
