Today at work, I went out to McGeehee, Arkansas, which is literally in the middle of nowhere. Along the way, I passed through Rohwer and by a massive 10,000+ acre area which is known as the Rohwer Japanese American Relocation Center, which was a concentration camp that, at its peak, held about 8,475 Japanese American citizens/prisoners who were forcibly relocated from California in 1942 due to America's involvement in WWII. There was also another camp set up about 30 miles away in Jerome, Arkansas, which was of about equal size. These people were placed in these camps because they were classified as a "threat to national security." If it happened before, don't think it can't happen again to different groups of people #Rohwer #Jerome #Arkansas #ConcentrationCamp #AmericanAuschwitz #RelocationCenter
