I love the movie okay, so very much.

To put it simplest - Fury Raptor will be a literal band of raptors with musical instruments, lead by Menace! And yes, they are absolutely going to play said instruments while chasing things down.

To be a bit more detailed - Menace is a former Grower from The Pack. Well, perhaps more accurately, she was destined to be a Grower when she was stolen as a (what the hell do you call baby raptors? I’m gonna call them Cheepers because that’s entirely what Fury Raptor will call their young. That’s a thing now.) cheeper. I mean, she looked very different from any other raptor that the Argent Dogs that did the stealing had ever seen. They figured she was clearly healthier and would give Alpha better children.

In alll truth, Menace has a number of birth defects - several being the result of a curse on her birth clan by a kistune clan. She’s closer in appearance to Jurassic World/Jurassic Park style raptors, with a very sparse amount of feathers at all. Realizing this, Alpha made her an Argent Dog instead - but not before he’d given her a precious gift.

And then came the events of After the Storm! While Niets (and also Pantser) remained within the territory directly after the storm itself, Menace packed up the guitar that Alpha had gifted her ages ago, and took off.

Ooooh, this is definitely a Thing! And! Relevantish to the story I’m slowly posting, After the Storm! Since it’s after a really big attack, ahah.

Rival clans get chances, actually, to stop such foolishness and return home. The Pack often knows the attack is coming long beforehand - huge territory, it takes a while to get to the bits where The Pack actually masses, and a raid or war party is bound to get spotted by either Scout Dogs or Shamans before they fully reach the main territory. Once that happens, the lookouts let out what’s called The War Roar, which is basically a really harmonized noise between the many different types of creatures found there. It always sounds the same, so as soon as it’s heard, the rest of The Pack has several immediate responses.

Alpha herds his Growers and the Pups underground to safety, where the Repair Dogs are usually holed up. If it’s not too serious an assault, Alpha remains there with them.

In not too serious assaults, the Argent Dogs fight to the death absolutely to protect The Pack.

The fun part comes in for serious assaults. The Shamans that are not useful for fighting bundle with the Growers (and any pups that are Alpha’s heirs and too young to fight) in the spare Shaman Den - the one that’s boobytrapped all around it that all of The Pack tends to stay away from. There’s a tunnel connecting one Den to the next, and The Shamans collapse it behind them. With The Growers and The Shamans that are unable to help fighting at all put someplace safe, the rest of The Pack is free to fight at full power. Alpha brings his magic to bear, The Shamans do the same, and the true glory of the Argent Dogs can be seen in these times. They don’t fear death, and even look forward to dying in battle, especially if Alpha is there and they have a chance of him seeing them die memorable.

The Attack/Defense Dog pairs are well oiled pairs, generally, and with the Repair Dogs and the Scout Dogs also paired up and fighting as a singular unit, the full might of The Pack becomes evident. On top of that, should they have enough time before the serious assaults, the Argent Dogs will roll themselves in red clay so that they all look relatively similar. Pairs will seek each other out based on their scars, and use this and scent to keep track of one another. To the enemy, it appears as if an endless tide of red is coming to sweep them away - it’s rather effective in dissuading less determined raids, though once the Argent Dogs are riled up that far the best thing to do is to let them give chase to an enemy that’s fleeing. Again, the Argent Dogs will absolutely fight to the death, and look forward to it even more with Alpha on the field as well.

There’s currently three, maybe four (we’ll see about her maybe) characters kicking around in my head so lets go with them each! ^^

Alpha would likely not wish for anything at all, because he believes wishes are basically worthless and if you want anything in life you have to take that thing (See: how he approaches most obstacles and goals) or, failing that, you just have to keep doing what needs to be done to make that thing happen (See: His treatment of the Growers and of his heirs until he has a perfect one).

Pantser would wish that there were a way to help Niets. His partner is terminally ill, and it’s unknown exactly how much longer he has but Pantser doesn’t want him to die soft. And really, doesn’t actually want him to die at all - contrary to what Alpha raised all of the Argent Dogs to aim for!
